Oh, I'm Just Addicted to New
Hello beautiful!
It is a new year, and I have a new vision, new life, and so many new and exciting things to share with all of you.
A ton of NEW happened in my life during 2017. I began my Masters Degree. I got engaged. I planned a wedding. I traveled more than ever before with more bookings than I could have imagined. I created a new album that went to #5 on iTunes. I got married. I started a new job. And, to top it off, I moved to a new city.
This would be enough to make anyone's head spin! But, in 2017, I became addicted to NEW. But, I don't think that is a bad thing at all. In fact, I believe God brought me through this crazy season to make me become addicted to NEW. Isaiah 43:19 says, "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."
"For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."
I cannot even begin to explain to you the joy it brings me to know that God is going to do more new things in 2018. I'm pumped to begin this exciting journey. So, I'd like to fill you in on some of the NEW coming soon!
1. My band and I will be recording a LIVE worship project this spring! God has been opening doors left and right and we can't wait to step into the studio to bring this vision to life!
2. I have signed a contract to release a new BOOK this year called I Will.
This has been on my heart all year! Throughout these pages, you will discover the promises that God has for us and how these promises can help you bloom into the woman of God you were created to be.
Writing this book has taught be so much about the Lord and His faithfulness. Every time I would sit down to write, I would ask God to give me fresh wisdom and insight. Yet, as He answered this prayer, He also convicted me to lean on Him and trust Him more than ever before. Each day, I would crave more and more time alone with Him. It was during these moments that God began to work on my heart and I know I will never be the same. This book is raw and real and, I believe it can radically change your world.
So, we are only FOUR DAYS into 2018 and God is already blowing our minds. My prayer personally and for you this year, is that God will continue to stir up new works, new dreams, and new visions. I don't want to be complacent. I don't want to settle. I don't want to slack off. I want to run into this year with arms wide open, ready to embrace all He has for me.
Who's with me?
